We had such a beautiful stay, in a beautiful place, with beautiful people. Everyone was so attentive, professional and super friendly. They spoke fluent English, but took the time to listen to and encourage our faltering Spanish. The breakfasts were delicious and they helped with booking restaurants and taxis etc. We stayed in the Rosa suite. The private pool is more like a water feature as it lands just above the knees, however it was wonderful to cool down with a paddle in the afternoon, on the days when we didn't have time or energy for the big pool. Absolutely recommend staying here.

Es para quienes saben apreciar lo excepcional, lo elegante y, por qué no decirlo, lo decadentemente cómodo. Desde que cruzas la puerta, sabes que llegaste a otro nivel: La decoración parece sacada de una editorial de diseño (y no, no estamos hablando de Pinterest). Las camas... ah, las camas. Son una trampa. Te acuestas "solo un momento" y despiertas dos horas después, cuestionando tus prioridades en la vida. La alberca es simplemente preciosa. No “bonita”, no “instagrameable”. Preciosa. La limpieza es tan impecable que uno duda si de verdad hubo huéspedes antes. Spoiler: sí los hubo. Solo que aquí todo se mantiene como nuevo. Y el personal, qué decir. Atento, servicial y sin ser invasivo. Como si te leyeran la mente pero sin cobrarte terapia. Además, se encargaron de reservarnos tours, coordinaron nuestras actividades y —porque claramente yo no iba a cocinar— nos consiguieron un chef privado. Sí, todo eso cuesta. ¿Y? Cada centavo lo vale. Si puedes pagarlo, hazlo. Tu yo del futuro te lo agradecerá con una sonrisa y un mojito en la mano. Villa Octavia no es solo una casa en Mérida. Es una experiencia. Es ese lugar que hace que todos tus hospedajes anteriores parezcan castigos medievales. Aquí, uno no se queda... uno se queda con ganas de más.
This is one of the most beautiful houses I ever seen in Merida .The owner is a very nice person. If you want to visit Merida and you dont know where stay, this is te perfect place.

Tuvimos una hermosa estancia, estábamos celebrando un aniversario y me ayudaron a planear una cena deliciosa! La atención y la amabilidad del staff es excelente! Lastima que solo nos quedamos una noche. Además son pet friendly. Sin duda alguna volverémos!
Wow, this place deserves all 5 stars and more. It is stunning, with gorgeous art and impeccable design in every space. The owner and staff make you feel right at home, they are friendly, warm and happy to help with anything from dinner or tour reservations to restaurant recommendations. The location was perfectly situated between the Plaza Grande downtown and the tony Paseo Montejo area, as well as a 10-15 minute walk to the lovely Parque Santa Lucia and even closer to Parque and mercado Santa Ana and the delicious upscale restaurants of Calle 47 (don't miss Micaela Mar y Leña on 47th or music in Santa Lucia park Thursdays at 9pm). When we got home every night, not only was our room always spotless, they left little chocolate kisses and, on Valentine's day, gorgeous mini brownies with flower frosting . Highly recommend, especially for a romantic get away.

Un hermoso lugar en el centro de Mérida. Nos recibieron muy amablemente con nuestra perrita Negrita, quien hizo amistad con Rosita, la guardiana amorosa del lugar. Las atenciones de todo el personal en especial de Patricia han sido excepcionales. Sin duda volveremos a este bello lugar.
